THE EXCRETORY  SYSTEM

How does the excretory system work?

·         Our body produces three types of waste:

o   Liquid

o   Solid

o   Gas waste

·         Liquid waste, known as urine, is eliminated through the excetory system.

·         (Two) Kidneys: Filter the blood.

·         (Two) ureters: Transport urine from the Kidneys to the bladder.

·         Urine leaves the body through the urethra.

·         The bladder is a elastic bag that stores the urine for a short time.

 

·         Nuestro cuerpo produce 3 tipos de residuos:

o   Líquido

o   Solido

o   Gaseoso

·         El líquido, se conoce como orina, se elimina por el aparato excretor.

·         2 riñones, filtran la sangre

·         2 uréteres, transportan la orina desde los riñones a la vejiga.

·         La orina sale del cuerpo a través de la uretra.

·         La vejiga es una bolsa elástica que  almacena la orina por un corto período de tiempo.
